Wanted to post something my husband and I recently learned about Superliner Deluxe Bedrooms. If you have a choice, we recommend booking bedrooms B,C,D or E rather than A. We discovered in the A compartment the bathroom unit is positioned toward the center of the space, thereby reducing the amount of floor space in the sitting area of the compartment.

It's also a very tight fit to get into the bathroom & shower due to entering the space to your right as you enter the room. It is also at the very end of the car so you get a little more noise from the door opening & closing. It's always my last choice when booking a deluxe room. Reggie

Very Recently, I took a trip on Amtrak. I was on the train for three days. My best bedroom choice would be E, for the Superliner Deluxe room. I thought there was more room than C or A, and it was facing forward.

Bedroom E is the closest to the center of the car& is the only deluxe room whose bed is not next to the bed in the next room. It's also closest to the refreshment center for coffee, juice Etc. The rooms B thru E are all the same size. The A bedroom is just a tad smaller because of the placement of the Bathroom/shower. Reggie
