That was a very interesting trip report. By co-incidence, my family was on the same eastbound "Ocean" and briefly spoke with the two Lauries. It is a shame that their return to Brockville did not go according to plans. Sometimes Via holds trains for connections, sometimes not. This inconsistency is one of the most frustrating aspects of travelling by train.
