Today, Amtrak's website announced a new service from Boston to Washington DC. "The Federal trains 66 and 67 for overnight travel with Amfleet coach, cafe, and Viewliner Sleeping car accommodations.

Will this be replacing the Twilight Shoreliner with Sleeper Service instead of business class?

Actually sleeper service has been on the Twilight Shoreliner for a while. Business Class will not be replaced with sleepers, but will remain.

So there will be coach, business class, and sleepers on the Federal and no Twilight Shoreliner altogether?

Here is an online news article about the train: http://www.railnews.net/cgi-bin/news/golink.exe?http://www.nbc4.com/news/2116715/detail.html

(To protect the innocent, the road number has been removed from the P42).

Hope the new service is a hit.
