I'll be taking the CZ east from Denver to Chicago next week. Since it leaves Denver around 7:30, will the dining car be open or should we eat before getting on the train?

We were on it last week, and as far as I can recollect, they were in the throes of serving dinner while we were in the station and continued after the train left. Hope they got the grill fixed (well, on whatever dining car we were using, the grill was broken both ways, which meant no steaks or eggs, among other things).

I will be # 6 eastbound Friday night and from my checking the train arrival in Denver for about the past ten days, I doubt you wll have dinner on the CZ. It has been running from one hour to as much as three hours late most nights. I think it was one hour late lat night 5/13. I plan on dinner before we board the train.
