Well I like it, but its not as good as I expected it. Most of it is a carbon copy from the 2002 Amtrak Travel Planner and there are some mistakes I found: I've noticed on the Midwest Corridor that it still shows the Kentucky Cardinal route. I would say that it is Computer Generated, because the engines, which are in Phase V don't not show the Large Numbers on the side as all the Phase V engines show. The AMD engine on the front page, #807 was scrapped after being in the Bourbonnais wreck. You can pick it up here: http://www.amtrak.com/services/orderpubs.html

Also, if you look on the cover of last years issue i'm pretty sure both locomotives are #123.

I picked up the tickets yesterday for my next trip in August and picked up a copy of the new planner as well. Nicely done, but lets face it, the locomotives were "painted" into the picture, along with the Superliner in the Phase IVb Paint on the front cover. It's obvious to us railfans, though the general public will likely not care all that much. Still, a decent job done, glad to see it back, I remember looking at the travel planner when I was a kid and it listed Heritage Roomettes And Bedrooms as accommodations on all Eastern Trains (of course this was before the Superliner II's were delivered and the Heritage Fleet retired).

I wish the superliners' std. bedrooms had private bathroom facilities. I've never traveled in a viewliner but from what I've read in this forum its std. bedroom has such a facility of sorts.
