I'll vote for anyone who has traveled Amtrak a lot, and has a train related screen name.

A moderator would only really be needed if those who post threads act like children, discuss things that are not related to the forum, or become abusive or vulgar. I'm assuming that most of the members are intelligent people who can refrain from personal attacks, posting bitter and offensive replies, or going 'postal'. Again, lets get back to business folks and TALK AMTRAK.

Hello, I think I should be the moderator. I am open to all sides. I will not judge yet he bu judged. And I will only delete posts that are REALLY "bad". I will NOT go on a deleeting of posts marathon!
I think I am worthy of this position!

Thank your lucky stars that I'm not the moderator, kids. Otherwise, this thread (plus several others that Mr. Irishchieftain has let stand) would be long gone.

I'm not a babysitter. Nor am I a police officer. Abusive posts and nonsense should be tracked to the user's IP address and have their ISP/company/school notified. This works on other boards, most of the time.
