A fairly long, single level passenger train passing through Sacramento at about 1:00 pm on 2/6?

Possibly the American Orient Express? -A cruise train, cream and blue color with some full length domes. Very expensive. Somebody out there know their schedule? It was parked in Albuquerque when I took the SWC last November.

That was a great guess, TSR, so I looked it up. Alas, the AOE is on a Copper Canyon tour 2 - 9 Feb, starting in Tucson and ending up in El Paso.

Unless they have another trainset.....?

AOE has two trainsets, but that was the Reno Fun/Ski train - Horizon cars and the last Amtrak dome and (sometimes) PV's on the rear.

That could have been the Reno Funn Train as it runs with low level Amtrak Horizon equipment.

Must have been the Reno train...it did have what looked to be 2 observation cars, although they weren't the same. I wonder why I've never seen it before. (my office looks down on the Amtrak station...everytime I hear a train whistle I automatically look out the window...and yes, I occasionally get some work done!)
