There are up to 10,000,000 shares of common stock available. FY 2002 audited statements show 9.3 million shares on issue.
NOTE: From what I can see reading the various websites, the voting rights for common stock consist of electing 3 of the 9 Board of Directors seats (5 of the nine are Governmental in nature and the last is selected by the board itself).
There are up to 109,300,000+ shares of preferred stock available. All of it is on issue. These shares do not have voting rights. These shares are owned by the Office of the US Secretary of Transportation.
