Here in Europe passengertrains use many different trucks. I am always interested in the differences in ride-quality of these trucks. Superliner 1 uses trucks of German design (waggon union) and Superliner 2 of American design. I noticed a small difference between the types of superlinertrucks, I think the superliner 1 trucks are a little smoother and more quiet on good tracks and more moving on a bad road and the superliner 2 trucks have a very little more rumbling noise anytime and can handle bad tracks (often in USA!) a little more smoother. What do you think ? Is it only my own idea or do you agree with mee? (sorry for failures in English)

Some of the worst track I've ever been on is rignt near my home station of Salinas. From here to San Jose the track is absolutely awful. On the last trip I was thrown against the wall as I entered the diner. If I had been three feet farther into the car I would have landed on a table. I can only say that on this track, the Superliner II rides horribly. I have no comparison to the Superliner I here, however.
