I heard a news report last week that there is a new route through southern Vermont for passenger service at 59 mph. There is some controversy over the unprotected grade crossings. I'm just curious as to what new service or route this might be. Does anyone know about this?

It might be the proposed service to N.Bennington and Manchester.
