Does anyone know why the eastbound SWC has been running so late? It has been this way for a few days - trains are up to 24 hrs late in some cases.

From what I heard, BNSF had several track washouts in the So. Cal. area (Barstow?) do to heavy rainfall over a period of several days, which caused a logjam situation. I believe everything is back to normal operation now, though. I cleared the delays by about one or two days on a trip from LAX to FLG. Lucked out there! -Eric
