Frank, any idea what's happening to the extra early morning surfliner from LAX-SBA-SLO? It was supposed to start up about now but everything's gone quiet and it's not on the Amtrak web timetable.

I received the new timetable in the mail Saturday. I ordered it online at the Amtrak website. Used to be under 'publications' but am not sure how to find it now. I got there by following a link elsewhere on trainweb.

The new timetables are available through the website and will be available in the stations on Nov. 1. I am sure one of the ticket agents in your local station can provide one for you. They don't display them early, because of potential confusion about schedule and time changes.

Thanks for the info! I think I can wait until the 1st to pick it up.
There's been nothing further (that I've seen) in the local media about the "extra" Surfliner.
We're supposed to get heavy rain this afternoon (10/26) into tonight. Flash Flood warning for the Gaviota Burn area. There may be problems on 101 but I think the tracks will be OK.
