Anybody out there with a copy of the "Skyline Connection" scheduale? I seem to remember it being published in the timetable but never took off. Thanks.

Schedules for the Skyline Connection were printed in the Fall 2K Timetables, of course with the forebding "service to begin on a date to be announced".
#45 was to leave Phila 1AM, arrive Pgh 924A Cle 104P Chi 650P. #46 Chi 1235P Cle831P Pgh 1222A Phl 905A.
I guess that "more or less'emulated the PRR "Pennsylvania Limited" WB, "Manhattan Limited'EB. One problem was that schedule would connect with nothing at CHI, another was "equipment just grows in the garden", and the biggest was that reportedly the first thing that Norfolk Southern heard about it was at an Amtrak press conference.
