Does anybody know of any good places to get accurate lists of Amtrak train consists? I'm interested in getting consists for several trains including:

Broadway Limited (90's era)
Pennsylvanian (90's era)
Three Rivers (2000 era)
Capital Limited (pre & post superliner)
Empire Builder (90's era)

You can find bits and pieces in forums, but their not complete. It's also hard to make out the entire consist from photos. Usually you only see the first 4 cars or so in detail.

You might want to see if you can dig up some back issues of the now defunct 'Passenger Train Journal' magazine. They used to publish standard consists just prior to the summer travel season each year. This mag ceased publication about 1995 or 96 though.

Passenger Train Journal was an excellent magazine. You can purchase back issues on Ebay. There are many available and most are just a few bucks. The item description usually includes the headlines and certain months featured different trains. These should prove helpful and they are always nice to read.
