I read the CZ will be traveling through Wyoming on my trip back east to Chicago. I depart Emeryville 9/19. Would it be likely that the schedule into Denver and finally Chicago is roughly the same? Thanks.

Could be, but probably won't be. The Wyoming UP line is faster, but the traffic is much greater, so the trip will probably be spent following a freight train.
