Looks like the 11 out of SEA is a no go today due to mudslides.AMTRAK is bussing the SEA passengers to PDX, where they will board the CS.
3 more days till my trip Empire Builder from WFH to PDX,and the Starlate from PDX to OKJ, then on 1/30 OKJ to LAX via CS, then 2/3 LAX to SEA, then 2/5 SEA to WFH...I CANT WAIT!!!!!

Careful about giving away your departure dates. Montana Jim now has 41 posts tracking his progress in the thread "I'm off" (lol).

And if you want to track the trip.... Ill be on the: Empire Builder 1/13 WFH to PDX Coast Starlate 1/14 PDX to OKJ Coast Starlate 1/30 OKJ to LAX (Anaheim actually.This one will be interesting considering how late the CS has been into LAX!Its a guaranteed connection though, so Im not too worried except for maybe about the next two days non-stop with my 8 yr old at Disneyland!!) Coast Starlate 2/3 LAX to SEA ( usually I go to PDX, but with the new bus from Klammath Falls to Pasco, I decided to ride the CS all the way to SEA.This might be a gamble with the weather and mud slides though!I might end up on a bus after all!!) Empire Builder 2/4 to my home, Whitefish MOntana
Ya, I know the CS is USALLY late, but I have got to tell you all, I have ALWAYS had really good luck with it, and have ALWAYS made my Empire Builder connection ON TIME in PDX...Amazing, isnt it!!I try not to look at it as the train being late, its more time for US to spend on the train!!
