I note that the CS #11 is running way late coming from the north into Emeryville; 4 hours is what looks like a good day, and 6 is more likely. We will be laying over for a couple of days in San Francisco on this leg in about a week. My question is: if I have thruway connections arranged, if the train is late and I don't want to wait for the next thruway bus, what is a good alternative for a gal with 2 school aged children? Would a taxi be do-able or is there another mass transit connection that would be better?

thruway connections wait for the train. No matter what time #11 arrives in EMY there will be a thruway to take you to SF

I arrived 5 hours late into Emeryville on the CZ and they had held the Thruway bus for us. Also due to the extreme lateness of the hour they took us directly to our hotels instead of the normal drop off points in San Francisco.
