Ok, anyone know for this for sure? When I got "select" status in the guest rewards program, I got some coupons for "free" access to Club Acela. Well, I rarely go to the Northeast, so are those coupons also good at the Metropolitan Lounges (like in Chicago)?
Anyone try and use them there?
Also, if you did, do you get to board at the same time as the sleeping car passengers in the lounge, or how does that work?

Yes, I was told they are good in the Metropolitan Lounge in Chicago, so I presume they are good in all the first-class lounges (Portland, New Orleans, etc).

Hi, thanks for the response. I took a trip this Saturday on #5 out of Chicago and they accepted that "Select status" coupon for free Club Acela access at the Metropolitan Lounge in Chicago. It was cool, I was in coach but go to board at the same time as the sleeping car folks, meaning a nice choice when it came to seats!

Hmmm, I was told by someone at the Guest Rewards Select 800 number that they were only good for ClubAcela. I asked them the same question. Oh well, glad to hear they can be used elsewhere. I will make use of them when I am in Portland!
