Much needed rain for the state! We are in a tornado watch right now, and the rain has stopped for a while. Don't know about impact for Amtrak; probably minimal.

We hope Barry heads straight for SC. Predicting 3-4" of rain. Hope so as it is needed - 3rd dryest May in 120 years. No wind problems expected.
Florida trains have problems other than Barry - as Notelvis and 20th century posted.

I was in your neck of the woods over Memorial Day weekend {Keystone Heights}. GEEZ!!! Talk about your dry lakes! I couldn't believe all the lakeside owners that had to mow underneath their docks and fishing piers.

My flowers, plants and trees are lovin' Barry! He cut our water deficit in about half, so still need more rain soon.

We got 3.8" of rain on our little horse farm. Normally, a rain of that magnitude leaves standing water in the pasture low spots; not this time. The ground sucked it up like an alcoholic falling off the wagon!

The rain was good indeed! No wind in the Orlando area anyway, and not that much rain (I believe the northern areas of the state got most of the rain)
No idea whether AMTRAK was affected by the storm -- I would guess probably not....... at least not in Florida, but I can't speak to any later flooding which may be taking place now up north.

It was a nice cool, rainy weekend with maybe an inch or two of rain. Delightful. Sunny and 87 today.
