Mr. GP, the actual rate of pay is within the labor agreement between the Agency or Carrier and its Employees. Those Agreements are customarily proprietary and are not open to public inspection.
While likely your Mayor Ames' compensation is public record, that does not mean same applies to a Beaumont Municipal Transit System's bus driver.

How could one expect to know beyond the usual internet speculation, when their respective Labor Agreements are proprietary?
The best suggestion I can offer is go to that same website and see what kind of return shows for Railroad Locomotive Engineer

I thought all public salaries were public knowledge, including municipal transit bus drivers? My entire adult life has been in the public sector (public safety), and I have known everyone's salary from the janitor up to the police chief and the city manager. Wouldn't the salary range of municipal transit bus drivers be openly listed on every job description/application?
