Anyone know what has happened to the benches in the Great Hall at Chicago Union Station?
They were missing when I passed through Chicago from the SWC to City of New Orlenas in late March and in the National Train Day photos I see people at the concert sitting in the floor of the Great Hall.
So......anyone know where the benches are? Why they left? Whether they will ever return?
Just curious.

Mr. Presley, the presence of benches in the "Great Hall' depends upon the proximity to an event being hosted in the facility.

There were wooden benches on 4/17. And people sitting on them too.

I'm reassured to know that the benches were out and being used in April.
When I saw the photos with no benches present on May 10 I was afraid that they may have been GFG. (Gone For Good)
