I think the color of the rice was discussed in another thread. I think we can eliminate saffron just based on cost. Tumeric was suggested as another possibility. What I'd like to know is how it tasted?

Frank in gorgeous SBA where I think I just heard the NB Starlight departing.

It tasted like rice... Not rice with saffron, or tumeric, not even plain chicken broth.

It was plain rice with yellow food coloring.
