Since I have been researching the dilemmas with the lateness of the #1 and #2 I have been concerned about arriving into ORL at 2:00 a.m. If you read my other post you will know that I am traveling with a small child and we are going for a week to Disneyworld. Can anyone give me any info about transfering to WDW from the train station? I did read about the Coach USA option.
Disneyworld only has AIRPORT trnsf info.
Are there cabs available at the train station if the train arrives in the wee hours of the night? What is the Orlando station like? Thanks!

The Orlando station is adjacent to a large hospital and appears to be in a "perfectly good" part of town. Even if the Sunset is "way late", I still think "worst case" would be a taxicab to Disney. "Coach USA" seems to have a number of transfer there for Amtrak.
My most recent visit there was Feb 2002.

There are several options other than Coach USA or taxi for getting from the Orlando station to Walt Disney World. An outfit called YourRide (http://www.yourride.net) picks up from the station. You'll have to call them for the rate though, since only airport prices are quoted on the website (and it's not exactly cheap).
Tiffany Town Car also apparently picks up from the Orlando station, but I don't have their contact info right now. I have no personal experience with either group, but I've seen good reports about both. How they would handle an hours late train, I can't say.
The Orlando station isn't in the "tourism" part of town, but it seems quite respectable.
