I have not been there since before Katrina...back then it was pretty dumpy. Any improvements?

I think they painted the place, but that's about it.

I was here last March for some time; we arrived early for our departing train. Nothing exciting, but it seemed pretty safe and busy, and had very nice Amtrak desk staff, I thought. Greyhound was in here too. On arrival, no problem getting a taxi.

I would have liked that the Magnolia Room have its own toilets.
