Hello! A few weeks ago I took a quick trip to Harpers Ferry, WV and had a great time. I posted my report on my blog. You can find the story parts here:

Seat 54 in both directions? (or did I misremember?)
How strange?
Very nice report, thanks.

Nice story David, I stayed at Harpers Ferry on my first trip back east and stayed at the Hilltop House. No taxi's it was a long uphill walk. You story brought back plenty of my memories. Thanks

With apologies to Toody and Muldoon, David, it was a "Seat 54, Where are You?" trip.

I enjoyed your report. Harpers Ferry very interesting too, though it's years since I've actually visited, it is my favorite Amtrak stop for passing through--from DC--such a beautiful approach with the confluence of waters.

Great report David. We always enjoy our trips on the Capitol Ltd and especially the ride from Cumberland to DC via Harpers Ferry.
