Don't make the mistake of thinking this is a "done deal," or "Sure thing." If anything, Florida rail supporters ought to realize that this will be a close run thing, and they must get out the support in order to push this into fruition. Coming from Wisconsin, believe me when I type that the long knives are out against rail, especially in the current crop of Republican politicians.

After Congressional approval of the FFGA, Florida's Governor Rick Scott will make the final decision to move forward with SunRail.
Somehow, I don't think that train hating Gov Scott, is going to blithely sign-on, as he surely holds that his anti-train positions have carried him into and will keep him in office for his second and final term that would expire during 2019.
