Well done, Train Granny. I wonder which is more challenging - teaching gifted children or an all night coach ride.

Congratulations on this position!

I have long said that public education often struggles to adequately serve children 'outside' the box.... those who come to the table well behind or well ahead of their peers and agree with you that the gifted are too often underserved.

(I've been a volunteer member of the admissions selection committee for the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics the last three years.)

Given the passion you've exhibited in your travels, I'm guessing that these children will have a powerful advocate.
