This may be premature, but does anyone know if UP is planning more California Zephyr detours this summer? I think last year the announced the detours in May, but I wondered if anyone knew something "off the record". I am leaving CHI on August 13th, and while a part of me wouldn't mind this rare mileage, that rocky mountain scenery is hard to resist. If it follows last year's schedule, it looks like I will miss the detour.
