I don't know the time, but figure around 2 or 3pm. It leaves Yermo at 8 am.
Does anyone know what time it will traverse Cajon Pass? Does anyone know if it will take the UP line(the "original" UP line)? Or will it switch to the "SP" line? (Now that they are both UP, I figure they will be able to use any SP line as well).

Yes you were right it arrived on August 9. How and where did you find this out? I was going by UP's official web site, and it said August 6. Is there a better site that knows more than the UP would? Thanks.

I was in Cajon Pass on Sunday, August 6 and caught the Challenger slowly rolling almost silently downhill. Passed Cleghorne Road around 12:15 PM.I know it was scheduled to go directly into up's old East LA Yard (I don't know what they call now it now since became all intermodal), and it probably didn't reach the Union Station until August 9th.
