This detail is rarely seen in photos and the only HO one I've found is a separate part from Coach Yard that is no longer available. Occasionally, the buffer is included on HO brass loco tenders but I have yet to find a separate part. My application would be for a Santa Fe 3700-class, circa 1939.
Do you know where I might find one? I've looked in all the usual places for about five years without success.
