Hi guys! I am just starting a layout and have acquired a Kato EMD SD45 in a large lot of stuff.

One of the trucks is off and will not stay in position on the body. There could be some kind of retaing pin that's been lost, but I'm reluctant to pull off the one that's firmly attached to investigate.

I've been staring at it for longer than I want to, so I came ta yous guys.

I found Kato USA's web page, and I can order a new truck for $12 and handling, but if I'm just missing something simple, I'll take FREE advice from you MRR veterans ...

Grazie Tante

Boy that is a tough one. I would need to see the loco in question to firmly diognose the problem and remedy it in any certainty.

My suggestion is to seek an expereinced modeler in your local area who would probably be willing to look at it and examin the problem.

Sorry I can't be of much help.

James

Well...after staring at the truck like a deer in tha headlights for an hour, I've decided there is a molecule-sized piece of plastic broken off. Just enough to prevent the truck from being held in place. Already tracked down a replacement from the Kato USA company. Thanks anyway guys.
