Cairo, I have always found it best to stick with whichever brand of airbrush you are using. However, if your using a good compressor with a GOOD regulator and drying filter it really doesn't matter what the brand of compressor is. Later, Scott

Get a good air compressor with a good regulator, I use mine at about 22 psi. but then I'm at 4500 ft also, not sure if that will make a difference, buy test your PSI on some scrape before going to town on a piece of rolling stock.

I purchased an air compressor from Cosco for about $130 added a moisture trap and it makes a great set up for powering my air brushes. When the tank pumps up for the first time it is noisey but after that it will run for along time before pumping up again. The compressor will also do light air tool operation such as staple guns, pumping up tires etc. So you actually wind up with a dual purpose tool
