I'd like to get my El Cap train set lighted. Does anyone know if the interior lighting kit Jay-Bee offers for Con-Cor Superliners will fit in a Train Station Products Hi-Level coach? I intend to use battery power instead of track power as I'm tired of cleaning wheels and contacts. So there is no problem with truck compatability. I know that Superliners are a bit taller than Hi-Levels but they seem to be about the same width. I'm familiar with Jay-Bee light kits for Athearn cars and these are very easy to install, and look great with interiors.

Bob what kind of batteries do you use? I have lit a couple of passanger canrs and some caboose marker lights with 1.5 volt AA type and 1.5v lamps but have wondered if there is a better system. Thanks, Scott

one of the members of the club I used to belong to came up with a neat set up. He used AA batteries which were good for about 30 to 45 minutes if sitting on a siding. What's nice about this set up is that he used rechargeable batteries and it recharged the battery in the car. One draw back is the cost of the batteries.
I'm sure I still have a few copies of the schematic and if you will give me your snail mail address and I'll send a copy to you. After I replied the first time to your thread I checked N.M.R.A.'s web site and looked for Jay Bee's web site they don't have one listed. Bob Cochran
