Here you can see that all plastering has been completed and painting finished. Next step is to add the greenery/weeds/bushes etc and trees.Top right photo shows the three levels. Notice the grades.

Hi Richard, I am nearly 65 years young. beem at this game for 50+ of that and still learning. This layout is three years old. Had loads of layouts in the past, here is a website to see what |I have done over the last few years or so.
I feel, humbled, after viewing all the times, your layouts have been in the, national magazines.
I did not realize who I was communicating with!
Your life's works, are certainly, well, documented!
I only hope to have my layout look, as real, as your's.
How did you get involved with all those, publishers?
Were you contacted by them, or, did someone else, intervene?
As I have stated before, you are a wonderful modeller. I will now, go back over my past years, subscriptions, and look for your works, with much enthusiasm.
Keep in touch, Shamus.
...Richard

Shamus; Your work is incredible and inspirational. Thank you for sharing it!
I see that you are working on a High-Lead rig. Are you using a spar-tree with that? I've tried to find clear diagrams and such to use in building one for my layout, but without much luck. Do you know of a good resource on the web?

Hi Richard and Bill, Richard, I spent quite a few years as a photo journalist whilst being in Show Business, so writing and photography for model railroads was the next logical step.
Bill, I have some drawings of what you are after, I can post them in here for you, or I can email them to you, let me know. Shamus

Shamus; Very cool! While I don't wish to deny others the viewing, I think that what you have would be better for me if you were to e-mail it. My address is aww@vennercs.com I am truly grateful! Anything you need from the great white north?

Shamus; It would appear there is a problem! You mention that you have 'sent' pics via e-mail, but they haven't shown up in my inbox. Yikes! I wonder where they ended up!
