The Walthers Christmas Catalog is out and is listing the HO Rivarossi 2-8-8-2 Mallet for $319.98(I paid $189.00 Modelexpo) and the HO 4-6-6-4 Challenger for $289.98. Those Modelexpo discounts are history.

Those Walthers prices are MSRP - this is only charged by Walthers' Terminal Hobby Shop and small town shops. You should be able to buy for 25-35% below those prices at a discount online dealer.

The Walthers add is somewhat price misleading. Take a look at www.trainworld.com for the true discounts available incl the Allegheny for $350.00
