I have been wondering that also. Internet users seem to use a lot of abbreviations, and sometimes it is difficult to know what they are talking about.

ICQ, Means "I seek you" Instant messenger.Try http://www.icq.com and download.
It allows instant chat file transfer,and will notify you when users on your list are online and using the net.
