Where can I get the part number for the carbon brushes for the Lionel 2046 Hudson motor? Can I use other carbon brushes without having to find an actual replacement part?

You should haveaparts list somewhere if you bought it new, otherwise, I'd try looking in a Lionel catalog, or contacting them directly

If they don't have it, very few others may.
