Just getting back into N Scale after a five year lay off. Moved to Tucson, Arizona and put my tables up in the garage.I didn't solder the joints as I want to see how the temp here relates to track expansion. I model the Bend Track style. In case you are interested in this, http://www.alltel.net/~ah50902/

Just wondering if there is any web site where scratch builders of buildings can exchange ideas and plans.

Hello,

Welcome back to model railroading, I hail from Lander, in the high windswept mountains of central Wyoming. I to am an avid scratcbuilder and am than willing to discuss techniques and share plans. I model in HO and have a modest 4 x 8 foot layout. I model a freelanced railroad, based on the former Chicago & Northwestern Railroad line from Lander WY to Bonniville WY. It was abandoned in segments slowly from from 1972 to 1985. I model the line as if it was turned into a short line and exists today. This was done to the Bonniville to Shoshoni Segment and exists as the Badwater Railroad. I however have named the freelanced version that goes all the way to Lander as the Lander Northwestern.

If you would like to contact me and discuss more about model railroading, my email is Challenger@hrp.every1.net

Welcome back to Model Railroading.

James

Welcome!

I am just getting back into HO after 5 years. I married this year and my wife owned a home. I have been here going on 2 years, and just got done today moving stuff from the basement to where my new layout will go. It took me 10 hours to clear the room. However, a nice 8' x 13'.

Once again...welcome!
