How do you keep loads on the flatcar without them falling off.

For models:
To keep loads on permanently, use a dab of glue.
for removeable loads, a small spot of velcro on the car and the load will work,
or you can do as the prototype does -->
Prototype:
All loads must be secured with chains or straps or some other fastener. (for models - tie them down with black fishline to represent strap tie-downs.

Hello Railers, A simple adheasive is chewing gum. Just a dab will do it. To remove, Place the part(s) in the feezer for a few minutes. The gum will chip right off. Happy Rails Uncle mickey

Gum is a Big No No. The sugars, and ensymes in the gum and the acompanying saliva are eneugh to eat a hole in the attatched models of the flat car and load. A much better solution that I use is burying a fairly strong magnate in the load. Most flat cars have a steel weight that the magnat will be attracted to keeping the load firmly in place.
