I am planning on building a Campbell Scale Models through truss bridge. What color stain is best for a wooden bridge? Can I assume Floquil is the best choice?

You probably would like to find a dark brown color so it looks like creosote!

you could stain any colour u like. a dark colour is best. almost black wouldnt be unrealistic because new bridges would have fresh wood which would have been treated with creosote. an older bridge would weather so some weathering with light grays and tans will accomplish this. have fun.
