I have some plastic rolling stock painted with Floquil and Scalecoat II paints and with Microscale decals. What is the recommended finish over these materials to both give a uniform shine (either flat or gloss, I haven't decided yet)and to protect the paint and decals? I'm most concerned with compatibility of the finishes (so the finish does not hurt either the paint or the decals. Also, will these finishes cover the edge around the decals that is present now? Thanks.

I would let the models sit for about two weeks, to ensure that the paint is fully cured. Then cover with Testors Gloss or Dull Coat.

Havn't had a problem with iether yet.

James.
