Happy Holidays to all:
Thanks for having me,now for the question at hand?I have just demolished a 13 year old layout, era is steam to deisel,The layout at a glance is 13 x 5 now going to the center of the bench and working out a total of 4' x 4' also exsist, simply put your looking at a T.Im hoping for some input on new ideas for a layout,I have searched my heart, soul and I think every other part of the organ list on my body,To put in simple terms Im brain dead.
So anything you can come up with I will greatly consider,If I get enough Ideas the CEO of this operation,my wife;said to incorperate all ideas into the 1 layout, and do a play by play as construction is under way,via a home page,Well thats all for now, hope you can help. Thanks again in advance. And remember to keep the smoke up and the trucks down.
Mike

Just an idea but take an invetory of all the loco's and rolling stock, catagorizing into:

Early(steam)
Mid(the brief transition year's)
Late(modern diesel)

It's also a good idea to look at what you have for road name's(a Southen Pacific 4-8-4 would look very out of place in a New Hampshire setting!!!)(or a NYC GP-30 crossing a south western desert!!!).
You may want to dig out any older copy's of MR and style after something in there.
