Hello Everyone and a Happy New Year,I have just been bitten by the model railroading bug.
I used to model 1/35th scale, WWII Military European Theater and suddenly, I went to a hobby shop and saw rail roads. I was awstruck. Here is something that I can model and it will move instead of being static. I don't what came over me, but I began looking around for model railroads in my country. I bought some books as well and am now looking at buying my first starter set.
What I can get here in my country is Marklin and Flieshmann (I hope that is spelled correctly)
I am very keen on Marklin so anybody here can tell me if this would be a good choise? I intend to start of with Digital and am looking at Marklins Digital Premium "American" set.
Could someone please tell me the pros and cons of AC (as in Marklin) vs DC. I am confused as to which would be better and since I would like to really built it scale, should I go for the K track instead of the C.
Any advice would be welcome as I am really a newbie here.
Thank you in advance to all.
Richard
