I'm a neophyte here, not into DCC yet, and trying to hard wire an Athearn engine so that it runs backwards. Is it possible to run 2 athearn F7A's together with on pushing, the other pulling? I tried to reverse upper/lower motor cip to truck tab/body and it still runs in the same direction. Any help appreciated...hope I don't sound too inexperienced for this forum. Thanks

got it....
I had isolated the motor and reversed the polarity before the post. I found out earlier today that I had apparently reversed the trucks from front to rear in putting things back together. When I switched them back, the engine worked backwards as I had expected. I guess I had canceled out my effort with the truck switch. I'm wondering if I could have just switched the trucks from back to front to reverse the engine. It's hard wired now anyway, and seems to run a bit better.
