Jimmy is rated 26 of 44 (Third Quartile) in the CSPAN "Rate The Presidents" survey. He is rated 22 of 45 (Second Quartile) in the Presidential Greatness Survey.
While his presidency could not have been more than "middle of the pack", we here who follow railroad industry affairs, i.e. all of us, should note that the Staggers Act, which so far as I'm concerned saved the industry from being nationalized and falling into the bureaucratic cesspool, was enacted "on his watch". Of course, for those whose interest in railroads is defined as passenger trains, they may take issue with my immediate assessment. For it was on President Carter's watch, that the first major discontinuance of Amtrak routes occurred.
But no one can dispute as Mike immediately notes, his Former Presidency has been devoted to service, as distinct from playing golf, and collecting "outlandish" speaking fees.
Regardless of political affiliations he will be sorely missed.

Suffice it to say, this article was written well before President Carter's death and just "dusted off" when such actually occurred.
Finally. a State Funeral will be held at the National Cathedral Jan 9. It will be most interesting to see if President-Elect Trump makes the scene.

TV coverage of the event starts 9A ET and will air or stream, essentially, on the channel or outlet of your choice.
Last report is President-Elect Trump and Meliana will make the scene.
For myself, being an Episcopalian and that the Cathedral is the seat of the Washington DC diocese, it will be interesting to see how the liturgy of the Baptist faith, President Carter's, will be integrated into the Episcopal for the occasion. For President GHWB41, being an Episcopalian, there was no issue.

Given that yesterday was "not exactly" a "slow news day" with both the Funeral and the Wildfires vying for the front page, Michelle's "no show", ostensibly over a "schedule conflict", seems to have escaped mention by either the Journal or The Times. Even Fox News seems to be giving it a pass - well, for the moment.
Of course, it should be noted that the Former Presidents were seated by Seniority, i.e. Bill was closest to the aisle, and with spouses to their left. That would have placed Michelle next to Trump (there as a Former President, as distinct from President-Elect) on her left. Their "love" for one another has, suffice to say, been widely reported.

You quoted Isaiah 26:20. Chapter/verse 30:27 actually says this:

The verse following Isaiah 26:20 is similar, in fact.
