I'm going to try to make it out there. But with California's ever-worsening budget crunch, I don't see these running in-state any time soon.

Well I just got back from Fullerton , I waited, my son was bored and we were relaxing and I was feeling lazy so i laid down on the benches at the south end, and next thing i hear was a fast ding ding ding ding...I never leapt up so quick! I don't get out much so I was really excited to see it, I tried to get my son to look so I'm like "Chris Look it's here!" He looks and says "It's ugly".
I wanted to get lots of shot without gazillions of people in it so this was a good opportunity to scout this thing.

I found it strange to hear a pari of Series 60s idling under a railcar, to me they shuold be in the back of an MCI 102DL3 which I drive at work. 500hp each engine that is one hec of a powerplant from them. When I got a quick video clip of it passing by at lincoln in SNA it was QUIET, the F40 800 was naturally more noisy.

Can't wait to tour it tomorrow!!

Well I did make it out there on Saturday. It was interesting to see, and glad they had the A/C going. But I can imagine it getting warm in there under those wrap-around windows.
