I am trying to locate a working train from the turn of the century (until 1910) to use in a film project. Can anyone help? Thanks, Robert

I'd also consult with the folks at California State Railroad Museum http://www.csrmf.org/

Take a look at the credits for the Thomas the Tank Engine movie: Thomas and the Magic Railroad. Gullane Pictures/Destination Films. It's on DVD and VHS. There's a steam locomotive used in that. The credits might tell you where it was from and that was made just a few years ago. What's the film/project? I am curious...

has running live steam 1909 Alco #93 - Consolidation 2-8-0 and turn of the century cars to go along with that.
I took a turn at the 93's throttle last month and participated in their yearly photo shoot - got some fantastic pictures !! Super-friendly folks there. Check 'em out !
