(From the posts I have been reading over on trainorders, this may be the last day to see a full dome on a Surfliner Train. This is a HEADS-UP for any dome fans. We will see what happens)

For info, I just saw the full dome STILL in the consist of train 772. This was seen on the "Inside Ventura Webcam" operated by the Ventura County Star at http://www.staronline.com/ .

This train departed Ventura on-time at 724 AM going south. This means the dome will at
least finish the day out with this consist on train 581 north to LA(135PM San Diego
depart).

Gee, Dan. Sorry I missed that down here in San Diego. Wouldn't you know today's the only day I have off work this week, so I don't get to make my usual 2, 3, or 4 passes by the depot. And you say it was supposed to leave today at 1:35pm? Nuts.

I don't know much about equipment assignments and consist rotations on the San Diegans...oops..."Surfliners"...I guess a small hope of that car being in the consist of the train I'm taking to Fullerton on the morning of 5/5/01 for Railroad Days is an even longer shot than I imagined, if not impossible now? I also wonder about the disposition of the car.

John
