I am from Massachusetts and plan to be railfanning in the Saratoga Springs, NY area within the next few days and i would appreciate any info anybody could give me about railfanning this area.

I happened to catch a "special" on TV that specifically showed AMTRAK connections to Saratoga....beautiful! Visit there if you are into beautiful big homes, horseracing, and elegance. It was originally a spa, as the springs there are naturally carbonated. Such things are still available to you if you visit.
