I live in New Jersey and go train watching in Bound Brook. I want to know where New Jersians go to train watch.

I lived in Jersey for 20-some years, until 1991, including about 10 in Dunellen. Bound Brook is good, since the Jersey Central, Lehigh Valley and Reading lines (as I once knew them) all come together there.

I also like several spots on the Northeast Corridor mainline: Princeton Junction, lots of trains, many of them passing through at high speed; Rahway, even busier at rush hour; Trenton, also busy, and the long-distance trains stop, so you can get a better look at them. The ends of Newark Penn Station are good too for seeing lots of trains.
